1. I think the MBTA can be a bit confusing sometimes. The trains usually come at the same time everyday, but sometimes they are completely late or early or something like that. But I'm usually pretty happy with the MBTA system.
2. I can't really rate the MBTA versus another transportation system the school provides, because I only take the MBTA.
3. During certain times of the day such as rush hour, the MBTA can be really slow, because at least as far as I know they don't but extra effort into those times. I wish they would make the trains come more frequently during these times. They don't have frequent breakdowns, but there are times were the trains stops for a while for no reason (if there is a reason they don't tell us).
4. Unless there was a transportation problem in the morning that affected students ability to get to school, I would say I do not think about transportation problems that much.
5. I usually sleep about 7 hours a night. I think I would sleep more if my transportation time was shorter, but that's not really possible, because I already have a shorter time underway than a lot of students. I think me being a procrastinator affects how much I sleep.
6. Since I am one of the luckier students that lives closer to the school, a shorter time would not really make a big difference (unless I lived like right next to school which would be weird). If my travel time was elongated I would probably go home earlier than I usually do; I don't think it would affect my activities that much, because I would do the activities if I really wanted to do them.
7. I do not think my location hinders me from participating in activities and I am very grateful for that.
8. & 9. The T is not the most predictable mode of transportation, but it works out most of the time. As I said since 7 am is rush hour for students at least, the trains are super full, and it is almost impossible to move around.
10. I would love it if trains came every 5 minutes during rush hour and every 10 minutes during other times.
11. The economic standing of my neighborhood is good.
12. The area I live in has a lot of housing and a few shops, which means the nearest transportation is a bit farther away, but still in walking distance. Since many of the people who live in my neighborhood own cars, there is a bit less access to public transportation, which is sad, because we could be helping the environment by taking more public transportation.
